The Versant 180 is a high-performance production press designed for exceptional productivity and print quality. It boasts an average monthly print volume of up to 80,000 and a duty cycle of 750,000, with impressive print speeds of 80 ppm for 8.5 x 11″ media at 52–350 gsm using the Performance Package. Image quality is outstanding, featuring a resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi, 1200 x 1200 x 10 RIP rendering without down sampling, and various halftone screen options for smoother gradients. Advanced technology includes a Performance Package that provides a 25% speed increase on heavier stocks, automated color calibration, Integrated Registration Alignment for accurate paper transport, and Closed-Loop Process Controls for real-time quality adjustments. The press handles a maximum paper size of 13 x 26″ and supports media weights from 52 to 350 gsm, with a standard capacity of 1,900 sheets, expandable to 9,900. It features an integrated duplex automatic document feeder that processes up to 200 images per minute.
